Pet Practice

Gee, I can barely keep up with these kind of excercises, they are not as detailed as I am used to and there is no one to ask about it.

This is part 2 of I don truly know what... 40~ words in a note to a friend.

Hi Robyn. Thanks for the great time spent the other day, and so nice of you to invite me for lunch so I wanted to invite you to my favorite restaurant, it's not Fancy as London restaurants, but the food is a delight.

This is Writing part 3, test 1 A
(give a description of your favourite film, and to say why you like that film most of all)

My favourite film is Inception, it is an SciFi-Drama movie about people who have managed a way to share a dream with other people, and use this feature to get in a rich man's mind to change ideas about his life and his relationship with his father.

I really enjoyed watching this movie because its special effects and how everything is represented inside the dream; the places you have visited, the people you have met, and how they are conected to your subconcious.

You say you want to have the same holiday as mine, but I hardly recomend it, since I had a real bad time there.

Most of my problems were mainly because of the stormy weather, but probably the worst of them was the food at the hotel, it was terrible and I saw myself forced to stay and eat in there.

I would like you to choose carefully either the place to stay or the time of the year you are going to visit Scotland.

Dream Home

My dream home would defy the laws of physics, but since architecture is not up to that yet I think it must have a second floor. I always thought it was the best way of having a lot space without needing much land.

3D modeling is SO FUN, I learnt how to work in this program when I was in 3° M.

The house would have some special features: The roof would be a solar panel, which would filter sun rays, giving only a desired amount of brightness, and since there are windows on the first floor it would still be light.

The living room has a special sits, and it looks like the ones in shoe shops, which have no back support.

It'd have a basement with the groceries of the month and a special workbench to develop school projects, like to never go out until finishing.

The bedroom has a cooler next to it, so you can serve breakfast to yourself in bed!

The nearest neighbor is 20 meters away.

Old School

Many years ago, internet was something made for (and to) the socially awkward, but nowadays we have all sorts of real cool stuff.

If Internet was an artist like a Rock Band, is it ok to say it 'went Pop'?

whoa this is unnecesary! (not really, just overwhelmed)

Tense mistake

I just came up with a common mistake I made, I wrote 'did not came up...'
It is in past tense, and the past is already in 'Did' and it was not necesary to write the verb in past as well, so I should have wrote 'Did not come up...'

The People Next Door

Budd and Shirlee were the neighbors of Lily and her husband Roy, (The Riordans) and of the Jensens. The couple leaves the neighborhood and Lily does not manage to live her life as she did until then, spends most of the night thinking something would happen, as time goes by, their children grow up, their son Roy jr. moves out with his girlfriend, and Sara becomes a Psychologist.

Theories about the missing couple were the trending topic in the neighborhood, Lily has plenty of her own and she can't stop thinking about the house, she hears voices during the night. Twenty years after the family left the house she decides to go inside and make sure it is empty.

I would give a more intriging end to the story, did not like very much the original one, so:

I go inside through the window, into a big room with a kitchen and a living room, it looks tidy but the fridge. I leave the room and go into the dining room, there is a half-eaten dinner, the glasses have a strange tone, by the smell I preffer to stay as far away as possible from it, apart from the dining table there is nothing else interesting on the first floor.
I climb the stairs, walk through a thin hallway, I skim the bathroom, but it is wet and all covered with a thick layer of moss, the mirror only shows green, so I decide to check their bedroom.

The room is a mess, the bed is unmade, there are uncountable things on the floor. There is a desk with a lot of papers and a pencil on top, the sheets were torn, and a few are crumpled, as I get closer to read them I feel like somebody follows me, but I can't hear anything, I read and start shivering, the paper had somthing handwritten in it, and only the last line was legible:
'...finally, she felt our pressence as she takes the paper.'
And the rest of the sheet is blank.

Group Activity

Our class has an group assignment for Sept 7th, today the class is on the computer lab

The News project is about Travelling.

We did not manage to finish the doc, but we are on our way!

Second Week of August

The first weeks have been a mess, I heard most of my classmates mentioning a few issues in their schedules because of the optional courses the University is giving. I liked some of these courses, but they meddle with my Language classes, so I will leave them for the upcoming years.

And perhaps it's also the struggle of getting up early every day, when I know I am meant to go to bed earlier but I'm always startled and can't sleep 8 hours straight, and I tried everything: warm milk, no sugar once I arrived home. I guess the next step is to don't use internet during the night, and read any printed text I have arround, or draw for a while...

Yeah, and about the name I never really like to sit in front of the class, normally when we make a circle I feel comfortable, but when I know there's people behind me it's really hard to relax, It also happens to me in the Subway...

Wow, estoy acostumbrado a escribir poco... y abusando de los íconos (xD y otros)
